The Competition
You are invited to join Orange County Fire Rescue as we host our 8th annual 343 Hero Challenge.
This charity event is a competition and tribute, honoring the 343 Firefighters that gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Participants will compete in a judged athletic competition featuring traditional functional fitness movements, combined with firefighting tasks designed to simulate what the 343 Fallen firefighers may have experienced on that tragic day. Athletes may compete as an open or as part of a two-person team.

- This is an indoor/outdoor event; it is highly recommended athletes bring tents and/or canopies to provide shade for in-between heats
- There is no ALCOHOL allowed on Orange county property
- Free for Spectators
- Apparel and food vendors on site
- Some seating will be provided, but feel free to bring a seat
